School Days: Bell Marks

This week the fifth grade turns in their bell marks. They were given this sheet of paper to make an envelop for them. Bell marks can be found on many different products. A sheet with all the different places to find bell marks is also given to students and their families so they know what to buy in order to get them. They can be found on several types of gum and candy, saran wrap, tissue, snacks, batteries, soup, and school notebooks.

The bell marks are cut from the packaging, put in the envelop and turned in to the teacher. Just the other day I saw for the first time a box at our grocery store asking for bell marks for the school. The school receives money for school equipment. My son said in the past his school has bought several unicycles and soccer balls.
