David Schwartz
David Schwartz, author of many children's books on math and science, also gave a presentation today. It was great. He was a very good speaker, too. He had a slideshow and props and many funny stories to tell. This picture was taken before his presentation. The room was a washitsu, a room with tatami mats. That was funny. I've never sat on zabuton (cushions) on tatami to attend a presentation! I've never attended a presentation about math books, either. I wish I had had books like his when I was studying math. He signed Little Brother's copy of How Much is a Million? Mr. Schwartz is holding his own copy in the picture.
