Japanese Aluminum Ladders
Today men came to prune the huge bay laurel tree at the corner of our garden. It's near the gate. Note the three-legged ladder. The men who came to prune our trees used to use ladders made out of wooden poles. I have seen many workers pruning trees around town this year, but I haven't seen any wooden ladders. Three-legged ladders seem more stable than four-legged ladders.
The men had to put ladders in the neighbor's garden to prune our tree. One man was in the tree. And look at what is sitting outside our gate! It was a crane. How high tech! Unfortunately, they had to keep the truck running to use it. That means there were gas fumes.
(That storage shed is for our emergency supplies. Jiji wanted it away from the house.)
