A Shell of a Moth

We saw this on a chair in the garden. I ran to get the camera.

It hadn't flown away,

so I took pictures from every angle.

The dark spot on the top of its back was really a hole. It was a shell of a moth. We looked through our bug books but couldn't find its name.
