Giant Koinobori at Showa Kinen Koen

This is a huge koinobori. This picture was taken at the top of the hill. The koinobori is down in a ravine. With the children standing in front, you can tell how big it really is. Click on the label below to see last year's pictures.

The koinobori from last year was moved and draped among the trees like a tent. Kids were running through it.

Oh my gosh, did you go to Showa on May 6? We were there that morning! Your pictures are much better than mine, it was such a beautiful day. I am trying to finish a post about our visit.

Yes, we went the 6th! I was surprised the big koinobori was still up. It was a gorgeous day. Bright sun doesn't make for good pictures, though!
I love the gardens and I esp. like the poppy fields. The dragons are great, too.
