A Dozen Eggs

Usually cartons of 6 or 10 eggs are available. In celebration of Value Plus' 25th anniversary, the company is selling a carton of 12 eggs.

This company puts a sticker with the packaging date on each egg.

Do eggs usually come in plastic? I've only seen that rarely, here. I prefer the old pulpy paper packages that I can recycle!

At the grocery store near me, eggs only come in plastic cartons. However, there is a Co-OP down the street that sells eggs in recycled paper as well as plastic cartons. I have even seen shops that sell eggs individually so you can bring your own container (actually that was the way it was in my neighborhood when I first moved here 17 years ago.) I'll scout out places and post other pictures as well.
