HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM JAPAN!!!!

This kanji means "peace" or "harmony". Papa made these cards on the computer. akemashite omedetou gozaimasu is the greeting for the new year in Japanese. (The u makes the "o" long.)

Happy New Year to you, too! Thanks for all the wonderful photos in 2006. I enjoyed getting to know Japan better, and I look forward to more in 2007.
