There are displays of emergency supplies in all of the stores this month. Here is a lightweight, waterproof "blanket". As you may be able to see from the pictures, it has many uses. We have 6 of these as part of our emergency supplies. I tried to download a picture of the portable toilet, but it keeps showing up upside down on the page. I'll try to post it another day.
Jiji, grandfather, put a small shed in the garden to store emergency supplies. The shed had to be at a distance from the house. There are many things stored in our shed. A three (or more) day supply of water and food, sleeping bags, tents, etc. We are supposed to go to the elementary school in case of a major earthquake. I guess we have all of our supplies in case we need to camp out in the garden or a nearby field.
